Sketchbooks – started them and will add to them

After attending a heat press mini workshop  at the Knit and Stitch show at Alexandra Palace I came away with lots of samples….what to do with them ? So I have started 4 sketchbooks, well technique books really using those samples and other samples from previous workshops and will add to them as I go along. For reference really for future use.

  • Textile techniques – anything from printing with found items to devore samples – to serve as a reminder of what technique I could consider for future work.
  • Mixed media – drawing methods for creative sketchbook work
  • Textile samples – for all those little things I assemble and sew that don’t belong to a project.
  • Heat press samples – trials and sample, good and bad of what I tried with a heat press.
