MUSEUM VISIT – Kelmscott Manor.

MUSEUM VISIT – Kelmscott Manor, Gloucestershire.

On my door step and about 5 miles away – went to the Country home of William Morris in Kelmscott. The manor house, his home until his death in 1896 contains a collection of the possession and works of Morris and his associates, including textiles, carpets and ceramics. Went out of interest and to research a little more about traditional textiles although I appreciate this is more recent in terms of traditional.
Just picked up some postcards – avoided tea towels and aprons !
